74.7% of Clearwater County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 8,525 citizens living in Clearwater County in 2021, 74.7% were old enough to vote, equating to 6,365 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 3,234 were male, constituting 50.8%, and 3,131 were female, making up 49.2%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Clearwater County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 76.7%.
