Census Bureau: 72.2% of people in Nobles County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 22,223 citizens living in Nobles County in 2021, 72.2% were old enough to vote, equating to 16,041 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 8,451 were male, constituting 52.7%, and 7,590 were female, making up 47.3%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Nobles County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 76.7%.
