Of the 742 citizens living in Ponemah in 2019, 383 were old enough to vote as of Jan. 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 231 of those people were female and 152 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.

Statistical data for 2020 will be released later this year.
