City of Park Rapids issued the following announcement on Dec. 2.
The weather experts are reporting a considerable amount of snow heading our way late this afternoon into tomorrow. Please be aware of where your vehicles are parked. Park Rapids roadways will have signage identifying no parking areas for snow removal. After the last snowfall we were forced to tow several vehicles that were illegally parked. Now is the time to make sure your vehicles are not parked in no parking snow removal zones. This will ensure that public works can complete their plowing and most importantly....prevent your vehicle from getting towed. We don't want to tow your car and feel bad when it needs to be done! Be safe and enjoy the snow!
