City of Wadena issued the following announcement on Nov. 26.
Tonight & Wednesday: Parts of our area will be brushed by a Colorado low which will bring heavy snow from Sioux Falls South Dakota and Sioux City Iowa northeast across the Twin Cities into northwestern Wisconsin. Expect significant travel impacts this area.
For west central Minnesota 1 to 2 inches is expected from Elbow Lake thru Fergus Falls to Park Rapids, with around 3 inches Wadena and Staples. No snow from this system north/west of Fargo.
