The City of Park Rapids is looking to fill a full-time position in our Public Works Department. The open position is for a Street Maintenance Worker. Duties include General Maintenance of the City's Streets, Alleys, and Right of Ways. Operation and ability to perform minimum maintenance of heavy equipment, and other General Duties as assigned by the Public Works Superintendent. Minimum qualifications are High School diploma, GED, or equivalent, knowledge of street construction and underground utilities, and experience in operating heavy equipment.
The salary range for this position is $19.87 - $24.51 per hour plus a City flexible benefits package (insurance) and retirement. Did you know the City is required to contribute 7.5% to your PERA retirement? That means for every hour you work at the starting wage, the City contributes $1.49 to your future retirement.
