Headwaters Music and Arts invites you to join them for their Open Mic and CoffeeHouse. The monthly community gathering offers a friendly open mic opportunity and welcoming environment for folks to listen and perform at Headwaters Music & Arts. The November event will see Ivan Les Smith take the stage as the featured performer. Sign-up for the Open Mic begins at 6:30 p.m. or by email to jjhgaard@gmail.com.
Smith is a local artist and creator who enjoys bringing abstract thought into tactile existence through chaotic dance, personal and social issues. He loves to bring joy and understanding to the ones around him through his music. He's been involved in political and social activism his entire life and has been playing music for the last 15 years, playing professionally for 10. Smith will feature some of his original tunes on guitar, mandolin, and banjo.
