Bemidji: A Call to Any and All Brave Adventurers The World of Dungeons and Dragons Awaits

Have you been watching Stanger Things on Netflix? Have you been hearing whispers and rumors about the fantasy role-playing game Dungeons and Dragons and want to learn more about it? Are you a child of the 1980s who wants to relive those long hours spent in your basement playing D&D campaigns with your friends? If so, come down to the Bemidji Public Library on Tuesday, August 9 from 4:00 p.m.-6:30 p.m. to learn all about the exciting world of wizards, dragons, spells, and potions! 

The Bemidji Public Library is pleased to announce, in collaboration with Accidently Cool Games, a Dungeons and Dragons Adventure that will introduce you to the ultimate create your own adventure game. Come and join us at the library, 509 America Ave, Bemidji, on August 9, 2022, from 4 pm to 6:30 pm as we take up the sword and discover new worlds in this exciting introduction to Dungeons and Dragons. Along with learning how to play D&D, participants will have the chance to design, paint, and bring home their own miniatures.

 Advanced sign-up is appreciated by emailing galloa@krls.org however walkups are welcomed and encouraged. Come learn about the exciting world of Dungeons and Dragons on Tuesday, August 9th at the library. This event will also be streamed on the library’s Facebook page. 

 The Bemidji Public Library is committed to providing the community with informational resources to enrich their lives. The library is open from 9/7 Monday through Thursday and 9/5 Friday and Saturday and provides a wide range of services to its patrons including WIFI, fax, printing, copying and our new legal kiosk. This program is done in partnership with Accidently Cool Games, located at 407 Algoma St NW, Bemidji.
