Caledonia Area Public Schools issued the following announcement on Dec. 29.
Caledonia School District No. 299 is seeking candidates to fill a school board member vacancy. The term of this vacancy will be until a special election is held in 2021. Applicants need to be at least 21 years old, an eligible voter, a district resident for at least 30 days, and not convicted of a felony. If you are interested in applying for this vacancy, please submit a letter of interest that includes why you are interested in serving on the board and what you feel are the most critical issues in the school district. Please submit this information to the Caledonia School District Office, Superintendent Craig Ihrke, 511 West Main Street, Caledonia, MN 55921. Application deadline is noon on January 22, 2021.
