The Minnesota GOP has released a statement regarding Vice President Mike Pence's rally in Hibbing.
“Vice President Mike Pence had a tremendous rally in Hibbing today. The people, the energy and the enthusiasm dwarfed the reaction that Joe Biden got the last time he was in Hibbing six years ago," a Republican Party of Minnesota press release read. “The people and policies of the Trump administration are working for northern Minnesota and today’s amazing turnout proves that. President Donald Trump is working to get the economy moving again and all Joe Biden can do is promise us all the ways he wants to rein it in. With Donald Trump as president, northern Minnesota is open for business. Joe Biden has taken the people of Minnesota for granted and he will be the first Democrat presidential candidate to lose Minnesota since George McGovern in 1972.”
Pence said the choice is clear when it comes to voting for President Donald Trump or former Vice President Joe Biden.
“We have a choice to make. It’s a choice between a Trump recovery and a Biden depression,” Pence told about 650 people who attended the rally, according to the Star Tribune.
