CITY OF BIG LAKE: Businesses And Non-Profit Organizations Potential Grants Available From Sherburne County

City of Big Lake issued the following announcement on Aug. 20.

Businesses and non-profit organizations should check out potential grants available from Sherburne County through Aug. 31st.

Businesses still have time to apply for Sherburne County’s Business Relief Fund, which will provide up to $30,000 each to small businesses with 2-50 employees for operational costs such as rent, mortgage payments, payroll, working capital, inventory and utility payments. Applications are due online August 31st and these funds cannot be covered by other federal, state or local funds.

COVID-19 Community Resource Grants is for 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations having an operating presence in the county with at least 2 full-time equivalent employees. $75,000 in eligible expenses from March-July 2020 will be available per applicant and an additional $15,0000 per month may be requested for eligible expenses from Aug-Dec. Funds can be used for rent or mortgage payments, payroll, working capital and operational expenses. Applications are due August 31st.
