Make Me an Instrument of Peace: A Guide to Civil Discourse
facilitated by Susan Boyer
Wednesdays, June 24 & July 1, 8, 22, 29
7:00-8:15pm via Zoom
The text known as the Prayer of Saint Francis begins, “Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace." Popularized at the time of the first World War, it remains relevant a hundred years later. These days we often find ourselves in complex and polarized situations that make peaceful discussion seem impossible. But no matter how far apart two sides are, there are effective strategies to bring people together.
Designed by the Office of Government Relations of The Episcopal Church, "Make Me an Instrument of Peace" is a 5-session course combining video and discussion to give us tools for productive, civil conversations about our unsettled world. Facilitated by Susan Boyer. The Zoom link will be included in the Wednesday email announcements.
