CITY OF CALEDONIA: Grant Money For Farmers

COVID-19 has focused attention on our country's food supply and renewed demand for farm business innovation. Join CEDA and business owner and grant-writer Kristine Jepsen to learn about grant programs available to farms and how to identify products and projects within your business that may be eligible for funding. We'll also cover common application requirements, deadlines, and best practices.

Kristine Jepsen serves as a counselor for America's Small Business Development Centers (SBDC), specializing in farm-based business and women's entrepreneurship. She has been a farm business owner along the Minnesota/Iowa border since 2006 and has written and administered grants providing more than $500,000 to small businesses, community initiatives and non-profits. The “Growing Stronger Together” webinar series will be held throughout June and July and will cover a variety of topics that can provide tangible information to farmers in any stage of their business. Future workshops include “Farmers Get Creative During Pandemic” on July 1 at 1pm.
