A virtual open house for residents of the Roseau and Warroad areas to discuss a resurfacing project on Highway 11 between the two communities, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation (DOT).
The Minnesota DOT is the sponsor of this event.
The open house will take place between Dec. 16 and Monday, Jan. 11. The event is planned over this period of time to allow community members to attend at their convenience and to learn about the proposed improvements, which go beyond the resurfacing. The project will also include creation of additional turn lanes and realigning the section of road near the Roseau airport.
Minnesota DOT is using a virtual format for this and other events in order to reduce the possibility of spreading COVID-19. There are no in-person meetings scheduled at this point. The open house can be accessed on the project website.
