Wadena Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Dec. 31.
Wadena Madhatters Community Theatre is proud to present our big Spring Musical - Stephen Sondheim's "Into the Woods"!
The story follows a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone's wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results.
Putting on this show means we need actors, musicians, set builders, costumers, designers, and more! Even if you don't want to be on stage, stop on by auditions because there will definitely be a place for you as part of the show.
Auditions will be held Friday, January 17th at 7pm and Saturday, January 18th at 2pm at Wadena Memorial Auditorium, with performances from March 27-29 and April 3-5.
