Hubbard County Education: 2,603 students were enrolled in 2024-25 school year

There were 2,603 students enrolled in Hubbard County schools in the 2024-25 school year, 1.1% less than the previous year, according to reports from the Minnesota Department of Education.

In terms of gender distribution, the student body in Hubbard County comprised 50% girls, with boys representing the remaining 50%.

Data also showed that white students made up 81.1% of the student body, the largest percentage in Hubbard County schools, followed by American Indian students with 9.4%, 6.6% Hispanic students, 2.2% multiracial students, 0.4% Black students, 0.3% Asian students and less than 0.1% Other Indigenous Peoples students.

Park Rapids Area Century Elementary had the highest enrollment among Hubbard County's 11 schools in the 2024-25 school year, welcoming 861 students.

With more than 870,000 students enrolled, Minnesota's public school system is the 10th-largest in the United States. As of 2025 the student-to-teacher ratio in the state’s public schools is 15 to 1, on par with the national average.
