There was the same number of registered sex offenders living in Wadena County in March compared to the previous month, according to the Minnesota Public Registrant Search.

There are seven sex offenders registered in Wadena County in March.

The Registry shows one of these sex offender is sexual predator. In Minnesota, convicted predatory offenders also are subject to certain mandatory sentencing laws that are designed to minimize their chances to re-offend.

Minnesota legislation about sex offenders and predators is currently being evaluated and revised, such as if offenders with good behavior can be removed from the Registry.

Patrick Lyndon Walker	Solicitation of children to engage in sexual conduct, communication of sexually explicit materials to children, criminal sexual conduct in the fourth degree	Patrick Walker engaged in separate incidents of sexual conduct against a known, teen-aged female over a period of time. He used his relationship to exploit unmonitored access. He used force in his attempts to gain control. Additionally, Walker engaged in the solicitation of an unknown teen-aged female. He used the internet and social media to gain access. He offered payments of cash in an attempt to manage the victim.
Timothy George Bungert	Solicitation of children to engage in sexual conduct, communication of sexually explicit materials to children, predatory offense, non-MN statute	Timothy Bungert has a history of sexual conduct with unknown female teenagers. Conduct included sexually explicit conversations and attempting to arrange a meeting in person for sexual contact. Bungert gained access by meeting them online.
Davis Earl Whitaker	Criminal sexual conduct in the third degree	Offender has a history of engaging in sexual contact with a 17 yr. old female victim and 23 additional victims. Contact has included penetration. Force has been used to gain compliance. Offender has been known to victims.
Terrance Lee Lindmark	Criminal sexual conduct in the second degree	Terrance Lindmark has a history of sexual contact with a known male child and a known female toddler. Contacts included penetration. Force was used to gain compliance.
Christopher Austin Sharp	Criminal sexual conduct in the third degree	Christopher Sharp, at the age of 18, engaged in sexual contact with a known female teenager. Contact included penetration. Sharp used force to gain compliance. Sharp also engaged in sexual contact with an adult female. Contact included sexual touching.
Nicholas Allen Rosemeier	Criminal sexual conduct in the second degree	Nicholas Rosemeier engaged in sexual contact with a known female toddler. Contact included sexual touching. Rosemeier used his position of authority to gain compliance.
Ryan Paul Petro	Criminal sexual conduct in the fourth degree	Ryan Petro engaged in sexual contact with a known female teenager on multiple occasions. Contact included penetration. Petro was known to victim.
