City of Menahga Small Business Interruption Grant Program
The City of Menahga is offering Menahga small businesses the opportunity to apply for grants to offset financial losses due to the impact(s) of COVID-19.
Program Description
A. Qualifying businesses are eligible for a grant of up to $10,000.00 to help offset the costs of business interruption from March 1 to September 30, 2020. The amount of grant funding is contingent upon CARES Act funds available.
B. In order for funds to be disbursed, businesses must fill out the application, meet the established criteria, and be approved by the City.
C. The following expenses are considered eligible for funding:
· Rent or mortgage
· Utilities
· Payroll, including taxes and benefits
· Property and Liability Insurance
· Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) or other COVID-related expenses
· Other operating expenses, excluding inventory
