Wadena Seventh-Day Adventist Church issued the following announcement on June 9.
Church Opening Info!!!!!!!!!
Welcome! We are happy to announce that the Wadena SDA Church will be gathering for Worship June 27th, 2020.
We will be meeting on the lawn at 10:45am. Bring your Bible, lawn chair, water and a hat or umbrella for shade.
Please park in the upper lot.
The basement door will be locked so you must use the front door.
Restrooms in the foyer will be available for use. There will be a deaconess to show you what to do for sanitation.
Chairs need to be six feet apart from the next family. We will form a semi-circle around the pastor.
Offerings can be placed in the box provided, mailed to Juanita or the church, or via the online giving app at https://AdventistGiving.org
Announcements will be made on Sabbath, on Facebook and the churches on-line page.
If you are at high risk for getting sick you are encouraged to stay home. We will miss you and look forward to when we can all worship together again.
Also, if you or a household member have symptoms compatible with COVID-19, please stay home for the benefit of others.
Face masks are optional at this time.
We must refrain from singing but music will be provided.
We must refrain from handshakes and hugs for now.
Congregants are encouraged to exit directly after services.
There will be no potluck.
Remember, we are gathering not because the danger has lessened, but simply to start phasing in worship services for those at less risk for now.
