The Teaching Artist Spotlight is on Starr Ann Lenz! Free and open to the public.
Stop by Watermark between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 18, to learn more about the shirred standing rug making technique with local artist Starr Ann Lenz. Starr will demonstrate how to make traditional shirred standing wool rugs while incorporating rich textures, colors, and patterns.
If you’d like to learn more about the art of making standing rugs, Starr will teach a two-day class on April 8 and April 15.
