Join author and journalist Joe Kimball at Pine River Public Library Monday, May 16th @ 6:30 pm for a presentation on his book “Secrets of Congdon Mansion”.

Joe was a rookie reporter at the Star Tribune in 1977 and was in Duluth the day of the murders.  He has covered the ongoing Congdon case for the newspaper until retiring in 2007.  His book is a first hand account of Minnesota’s most infamous murder case, where one of the state’s richest women was smothered to death in her 39-room Duluth mansion, and her night nurse was bludgeoned to death on the stairway.

This project is made possible with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund and the people of Minnesota.
