Former MSU Mankato Mavericks collegiate hockey player will present Opioid Awareness & Narcan Training on Monday, March 27 at 5:30 PM in Bensen Hall 115

Speaker and Educator Andrea Herold, was a MSU Mankato Mavericks collegiate hockey player now living in recovery and teaching others about how to respond to an overdose.

Learn about the Opioid Epidemic and how to respond to an overdose to save a life.

In response to the nationwide opiate epidemic, RAAN has reached out to partner with other agencies in developing our overdose prevention response. RAAN has made naloxone/Narcan kits available statewide at no charge and provide training for proper use of Narcan for opiate overdose reversal. Narcan kits are free at Face It Together Bemidji thanks to the partnership with RAAN and Minnesota Department of Human Services.
