Enjoy storytime and the other community activities at the Bemidji Public Library? Let the Beltrami County Board know how you feel!

The Bemidji Public Library and the Blackduck Public Library are disappointed to announce that they are facing catastrophic budget cuts in the proposed 2023 Beltrami County budget. These cuts will gut both libraries and lead to greatly reduced services. We are asking community members to write, call, and email our county commissioners and tell them how much libraries mean to Beltrami County residents and voice your opinions at the next County Board meeting, Tuesday, September 6th in the County Board Room, 701 Minnesota Avenue at 5.00 p.m., to show your support for our Beltrami County libraries.  **These are our only chances to tell them how much our libraries mean to us and our community and urge them not to accept the proposed budget if it decreases funding for our libraries.**
