During this class taught by artist Elena Bantle, students will learn how to weave a hanging star from strips of birch bark. Students will also learn about sustainable birch bark harvest and gain a new appreciation for this local resource. Materials will be prepped for you, and you will also learn how to prep materials for yourself. You will learn several examples of what can be accomplished using this weaving technique.
