The public is invited to an artist talk and reception for emerging filmmaker and photographer Falcon Gott (Sapotaweyak Cree Nation). His exhibit “Bi-dibaajimowag – The Eagles Come Telling Stories” features work from moments he has captured during his travels and from personal interests.

Gott, also participating in an Artist in Residency program at Watermark, was invited to instruct young photographers over a two-week period prior to the exhibit. The work of the “Migizi Gizhaaden” student photography group will be showcased with Gott’s work in the Lakeview Gallery.

Bi-dibaajimowag opens Aug. 5 through Oct. 28 in the Lakeview Gallery. Watermark Art Center galleries and SHOP 505 are free to visit and open to the public Monday through Saturday from 10 to 5 p.m. and located at 505 Bemidji Avenue N, in Bemidji.
